Functions

ONBA offers a unique area for any type of function for up to 55 people (upstairs). Our functions are designed to be more “laid back” affairs with both seating and standing room for your guests. We can arrange a bar tab for selected drinks or run individual tabs for people the choice is yours.

We have a $4/hd cake charge if you bring your own cake which will be cut/plated and served by our staff.

At ONBA we don’t ask you for a deposit but instead ask that all food/room hire be paid one week prior to confirm and hold your booking.  Bank details – ONBA, BSB 067-000, and Account 1053 5831 please use full name as reference. We do not accept cheques and all tabs must be paid in full on the night by cash or card. We apply a surcharge to American Express for function payments.

At ONBA our aim is to take the worry out of your function! We are happy to try and cater for any budget or request so please ask.  Please let us know if you have any of your guests are vegans, gluten intolerant or have any allergies.

Cocktail Platter Function     (Min of 20 people).

ONBA platters are priced at $25 or $35hd. Some options may change depending on what fresh produce we have at the time and also the chef's creativity! (GF) Gluten Free

  • Chicken and lemon grass puff pastry parcels with Coriander mayo
  • Tomato, Olives, Spanish onion and Cheese fettata
  • Semolina Fish Bites with Lemon Aioli (GF)
  • Mini Toasts with Rare Roast Beef and Mustard Mayo
  • Sushi with Smoked Salmon, Egg, Cucumber and Red Peppers (GF)
  • Roasted marinated Sicilian and lingurian olives
  • Roasted smoked paprika cashews, almonds, peanuts and pumpkin seeds

  • Patatas Bravas with Chilli Sauce
  • Veggie Puffs with a Mild Curry Mayo
  • Crumbed Cheese, Roasted Pumpkin and Spinach Balls (GF)
  • Mini Toasts with Tomato, Avocado and Spring onion Salsa and Parmesan cheese.

Pan fried citrus and chilli (mild) prawns served with rocket and a chilli turmeric dressing

Thai style beef and vegetable spring roll (1) with rocket and homemade Coriander, chilli and ginger sauce 

 

Mains:

Pan-fried beef fillet (cooked medium – 180 grms) served with sweet potato and corn fritters, crispy prosciutto and pepper berry jus
OR
Oven-roasted rolled Chicken breast filled with spinach, semi – dried tomato, fetta and served with beetroot mash, bok choy and pan jus
OR
Pan-fried Atlantic Salmon served with lemon, garlic polenta wedges, bok choy and drizzled with herb oil
